Read full review.Please be aware that some of the older shows although available in high quality format may have less then stellar sound quality due to the age and quality of the original recording. I rated this CD as Excellent and I really do recommend it. It's really just about the fun of it all. Spreading a good laugh is great! And so is singing! With this music you can do both and it doesn't matter what you sound like. And it was our parents who first turned us on to the "funny songs" over 30 years ago when we were kids. I'm turning my 9 year old boy onto the music now. I'm really happy with the new CD and I do recommend it to anyone who appreciates those old songs that make you laugh. Who was better? Who could hang? The guys or the girls? Wow!! What a time. So were we!! One night we heard The Great Smokeoff and it started a huge debate that carried on to many parties. But whatever it was, if the Doctor was on. We als o got a dose of the good old days from the Doctor when he would play really old funny songs as far back as the 50's or so. However it happened, I'm just glad it did! All my friends in highschool were tuning in! This was in the 80's and some of the songs were new for our time. But I think the station imported the Doctor for Friday nights somehow. Demento rambling on and playing his music. I listened to a local FM Rock Station and one night I heard the goofy Dr. Later, as a teen I was lucky enough to stumble upon the same madness on the Radio. Many nights while the adults were playing cards on Friday nights we would stay up late and get the giggles with the weird songs and the Friday night comedy shows. We would play it all the time and goof around singing. When I was a kid back in the 70's my friend had an album with crazy songs on it.
